2011 Ling Ding Tournament Apr 1-30
For you guys and gals who like to hunt the man in the brown suit please join us for the 2011 Ling Ding. The tournament will be a 5 week (14 fishing days) event, fishing on the weekends, (Fri/Sat/Sun) and wrapping up on Saturday April 30th with a party at the final weigh in. $150 per boat entry fee. $250 for each weekly winner and $2000 for the overall heaviest cobia. If we get 50+ boats the top prize will go to $3000. There is also a $500 prize for the biggest spanish mackerel for the tournament. Registration and Weigh Stations will be Half Hitch Tackle in Port St. Joe and Marquardt's Marina in Mexico Beach. Week 1 of the tournament was great. We had quite a few fish weighed and there are fish everywhere right now! We have 4 more weeks of fishing left and the prize money has jumped up to $3000.00 with 55 boats entered so far. Here are some week 1 pictures.
