Ochlockonee river boat ramp
Can anyone help?? There is a boat ramp on the northwest side of the ochlockonee bay. If you go down 98 and take a right at the BP ( heading toward the bridge) on surf drive ( I think). I know it is past the marina, but don't know the name of the road you would take a left on. I put in there years ago, and other than it being small and primitive, seemed ok. It is deep from what i can remember and boats could get in and out at low tide. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

it's Roho Road landing, it is not a good landing for a boat with any length, it has a steep drop off.

also, there is not very much room to park your truck and trailer.

Thanks for the help, really appreciate it. I put my 22 pathfinder in a few yrs back without a problem. We'll be fishing a boat of similar size, think that will be ok?

careful of the dropoff, I have put small boats in there but the concrete has deteriorated quite a bit.

I would suggest Mashes Sands instead. I see people with small boats put in there. There is also a ramp across the bridge now, with a small floating dock...just watch out for the oyser bar off to the left.

Thats right! The women are smarter. ( a little greatful dead for ya). Thanks for the help everyone. Mashe sands is the place to be. Great ramp. Ps I tried the new ramp on the Franklin side of the bridge 2 weeks ago and it was still roped off, looked like construction. Thanks again, big help.
