I have a garmin 162 black/white gps and love it even though it is "relatively" old. I just learned I can change the external antenna to an internal by changing the backplate. Its very easy. I will buy a antenna/backplate if anyone has one to get rid of, or will trade my current external antenna/backplate and external antenna for it.

Try ebay you may find a broke one cheap.
