Great Tournament Warrior, thanks to all who worked hard to make it happen. Thanks to all who cleaned and fried fish, brought food from home to share with the hungry crowd, hope everyone enjoyed it as much as Huey and I did. We had a great time and can't wait till Econfina rolls around. (At least we had one fish to weigh.) :-D

It was indeed a good tournament. The Friday evening fish fry was outstanding. The weigh in was handled very well. Thanks to all the folks who worked to make it a great event. It was embarassing to do as poorly as we did but I was able to fish with my youngest Son, have Atticus back on board again, run with everything working and nothing broke, watch my Son catch his first Red Fish ever and net it for him...so all things considered I'd sure do it all over again. Thanks to all and congratulations to the winners! It's a good thing I don't have to rely on winning!! :D

The boy did good! Caught on a 1/4 ounce jig with a white sure ketch with a pink curly tail bounced on the bottom.

Pre fishing on Friday was a bit nippy!! Water temp ranged from 54 to 59.6 degrees

Well done Ashley and Matt. Thanks to all that played a role in making the Friday night gathering happen. Thanks to Larry and Andy for the food at the weigh in.

Does anyone know where I might find a REAL partner?

My family and I had a great time. We stayed Sat. night and I fished a little on Sunday while Andrew and Melissa went to the beach. When I headed back up the channel on the way in, I finally got stopped by the two FWC officers who checked a lot of our tournament contestants. When I told them I was part of the fishing club who had put on the tournament, they wanted to know who our two tourament directors where, but they didn't offer a reward, so Ashley and Matt - you guys are safe until next time.

See you at the Econfina.
