Wondering what is your favorite saltwater treble hook to replace factory hooks on inshore topwater or suspending lures?
I like VMC® 4X O’Shaughnessy Treble Hooks in red, but I'm thinking maybe I haven't given Owner Power Point 4X a fair shake, Eagle Claw Laser Trebs, or even VMC SureSet. Maybe I'll move from 4X to lite wire.
I'd be interested to hear your opinion on saltwater hook selection.

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
I have good luck with the Eagle Claw #4's. I specifically don't like the red hooks. One winter I replaced all my rusty hooks with the red ones and they didn't hold up well. Once the red comes off and you see the gold underneath, I don't believe the lures are as productive.
