4-18 Lanark

Went down to lanark Monday with a buddy of mine who doesnt fish much and promised we'd get at least 15 trout, a few that would be keepers and hopefully some reds. I was right and wrong. We only found 1 red on the docks, and it was short.....but the flats provided a bending rod kinda day...didnt keep precise count until we figured we were at least 20 deep on the trout...and then we caught 10 more! 8 were keep size, though we fumbled 2 of em at the boat...

Also, caught at least 10 pins, and hooked em up with hopes of big trout or reds...they were all eaten and were fun fights, but they were all little sharks.

So all in all we hooked up 40+ times on fish, cant ask for a better day than that!

Nice day man! And those little sharks are a blast on light tackle!
