Tired of the same old cheese grits?
Try adding a little salsa to them. I prefer the medium salsa from the publix deli.

Try making them with fish or shrimp or chicken stock vice plain water.

I like to add finely chop celery and onions sweated down in butter with salt&pepper and finely crumble sausage to my cheese grits. This is the coastal NC way to make cheese grits.
My electronics cost more than my boat,motor, and trailer.

Chalk is right, chicken stock makes a lot of difference.
Also try real course ground grits rather than the quick stuff...

Probably an old receipe for some but I still like garlic and pepper jack cheese to go with fish.
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

Slice a fresh tomato on top of your grits. Its good for breakfast too. Grits and Tomatos. Yum
