Lanark Village

My wife and kids want to go over to Lanark Village/Dog Island area and spend the day fishing. We always fish out of St. Marks and I have not fished the Dog Island area in years so I don't have a clue as to where to go. Can anyone provide some general suggestions for trout, redfish, mackerel, etc?

If you put in at Lanark, go out the channel and head east about 200 yards and start fishing. You can also go to east end of Dog Island in the umbrella cove area. All of it is good fishing. Just make sure you dont try to cut the turn at the red marker heading to DI.
