Need a Jellyfish Report......
.....took my 6yr old scalloping for the first time opening weekend and he was willing to go in despite all the jellyfish. After one of his buddies got nailed, he wouldnt go back in. Do they look to be any better right now?? Any tide movement better than another? Though I would give it another try. Thanks.

I only saw a couple east of the lighthouse Saturday. I would think the outgoing tide would be better than the incoming.

We went one week ago today around noon on a 0.4 low, around the rock garden area, and were very surprised to see NONE,as they were awful back around the first of July.Made for a pleasant trip despite the heat,we stayed in the water about 2 1/2 of our 3 hrs there. It was hotter than you know what but at least we did'nt have to contend w/ the jellyfish.Hope y'all have a great trip, btw, scallops seemed less plentiful but were WAY larger this trip.Good Luck!!

I went at St. Marks today. They were thick everywhere but where the scallops were. It just depends on so many factors so I doubt they're predictable. St. Marks scalloping hasn't been work the effort to me. I'd look for another place.
