Cleaning Aluminum Wheels

Post by Mister Mullet »

Anybody have a recomendation for a wheel cleaner? I have textured wheels on my SUV and it's a real pain trying to clean them. I use a toothbrush and 409 and it takes forever. Even sprayed them with PAM nonstick spray. :(

If you have shiny aluminum wheels it is not recommended that you use any acid. It will dull the finish.
This is not an intentional plug for any manufacturer, but Armor All has a new product that protects your wheels once they have been cleaned.

Flitz polish.......Harmsway turned me on to this stuff...it's incredible on almost everything.. It took the water spots off of my electronics and put a shine on my motorcycle wheels I couldn't believe.
