It's a genuine largemouth for sure. But you got it pretty close, not a private though, a pond it is. quite a surprise.

I fished out there the other day for a few hours throwing a jig and topwater in and around all those grass mats walking around the outside, didn't do anything except jump up a 7+ foot gator about 15 feet away. Looked like it should hold some decent fish, had water in it for a long time and has a good amount of cover. What'd he hit?
