Condolences to your son, and his friend's family PA. I can really feel for him. For the last four weeks, I've been staying at the Hope Lodge in Gainsville, being caregiver to my best friend. He is the friend Larry that I mention in my story "Little Boys and Baby Fish." His mother runs Bo Lynn's Grocery in St. Marks. We have been best friends since we were eight years old. He has stage four cancer. He has three more weeks to go for chemo, and radiation treatments. I'm heading back down there tomorrow morning. I stay with him during the week days and go home on the weekends.
I know your son's pain first hand.

Terribly sorry to hear, but I'm sure he couldn't of asked for a better father.
THoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark
