Surf Fishing on Cap San Blas
Headed down next week to sit on the beach at Cap San Blas for spring break week and surf fish a MUCH AS POSSIBLE... any pompano YET??? Went a couple of weeks ago and no luck but haven't heard if they're back yet... Any News?!?!?!?!?!

I was there this weekend but didn't get a chance to try it. Lots of folks were fishing the surf but the few I spoke with hadn't caught much and no pompano caught that I was told about. But, that was just a small random sample of folks.

That's what happened when I went a couple of weeks ago. But switch to live shrimp and caught two slot reds on the beach! But hoping for some Pompano action next time!!
