Piney Island

Post by grasscarp »

Has anyone fished in front of piney in the grass flats. I was wondering if the trout have shown up in this area.

Stay off my holes.
I have a tournament there next week and my fish don't need a sore mouth.

Thanks but I'm concerned that you'd find evidence on my plotter that I've been tracking you. Actually, however, a lot of people are marking your spots and sharing the info on a private blog and I've been taking notes.

For all those who havn't seen it, JT has a Warrantless Deed to the Gulf of Mexico and all rivers, lakes, ponds, ditches and puddles adjacent thereto. He also has a map detailing his holdings. This deed was presented to him in an official recognition ceremony in '10. He is very shy and modest and does not mention his legal claim. Whomever drafted this deed failed to include goats.

I wish to state that I have NEVER BEEN EVEN CLOSE TO ANY OF JT'S HOLES!!!!!!! :smt116 and find it very disturbing that so many admit to using JT's holes :smt104 :smt103 :smt077

JT, thank you for the info on Piney, it really worked in our favor. We caught 65 trout, 18 over 20 inches with the biggest being 28inches. I have fished the area for a long time, but never this early. If it werent for JT's answer to my origional post i would have never fished it. Thank you JT! The hole might be yours but the fish are obviously mine!!
