Pacu replica

Post by redbelly7 »

Does anyone know who would be able to make a replica of a Pacu, (fresh water pirahna)? A friend of mine caught one in the Flint River many years ago and has it in his freezer. I feel that a replica would be the best way to have it mounted. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The pacu is supposed to eat only vegetation, but it bit a worm....... I saw on River Monsters where they were introduced into another river where they started biting people's anatomy.

Try this company.

The owner's name is Troy Denson and he is a Saltwater Classic Sponsor. I think they also have an iphone app that allows you to take a picture and some measurements of the fish.

billy32303, i think they bit a few women too. I'm glad that I found out that the water temp here in the Flint doesn't allow for these fish to reproduce or we would really have trouble here as Jeremy found out in the River Monsters episode, where the pacu was transplanted.
JCP, thanks, I will tell my friend about this site.
