Panacea 5/17

Hit the pier in Panacea, turned out to be a nice day. Fished shrimp and cut-bait in the deeper water and caught a few. Got 8 nice white trout, a big sailcat, 2 croakers(including the biggest croaker I ever caught) and a bunch of small sharks. Kept the biggest shark, a hammerhead. Lost several bigger trout ant the pier, not hooked good.I need to get a pier net sometime. Had 2 cutoffs and one breakoff, I'm guessing bigger sharks. Saw 3 dolphins and a lot of mullet, one dolphin jumped out of the water to get a mullet and it sounded like somebody threw a huge rock in the water.
Interesting day, I need to bring my big rig next time for the big boys.

A lot of fish are caught off that dock... the tarpon will show up soon!
