woody wax

Post by filetandrelease »

Has anyone tried using woody wax non skid protectant on their boat? It is suppose to really help in the cleaning process of the non skid after applied. It is expensive, but sounds like you don't have to use much, but you do have to reapply every few months.

I use it, had one bottle since last August, your comments pretty much sum it up. I usually wash the boat and then when still damp put the Woody Wax on a soft brush per the instructions. I use it on all the interior surfaces since it seems to keep stains from "sticking". I tend to reapply after every good scrubbing since I think the sun breaks it down somewhat. Maybe someone has a Dollar Store equivalent...
