Trout Bonanza!!!

Post by Chalk »

Birddog & Chalk can still bring the fish to the scale - too bad we weren't fishing in a tournament

Weather forecast and radar looked like we would wash the boat several times before the day was out. Only got wet once from the rain...was game on from the start the bite lasted until the ominous dark clouds finally sent us packing.

Caught'm on tourist rigs w/ DOA skrimp - so easy a Jumptrout51 could do it. Just throw it out there...snatch it, set the hook...get the net :smt007 :smt007

Had a hard time catching anything under 20"...was a real PITA.

A few reds mixed in for good measure and a good ol' rock bass too.

Nice day, guys. Way to christen the new ride.

And as you know, there are a lot of tourist rigs/DOA shrimp hidden under the gunnels of many tournament boats.
