porpoises

Post by JPVolunteer »

I like bottle-nose dolphins. I wish they would leave me alone when I fish.

Not sure I would want to admit to a crime on a MSG board. Feeding porpises your bait is illegal and can be harmful to them. Hate to be a " party pooper" but you should definatley reconsider if visited by them again. My wife and I seem to be porpise attractants. We often joke that we should quit fishing and start a "dolphin cruise" charter...but as soon as they come around we typically just pull up anchor an head for a new spot. The bite always slows waaaaaaay down when they are around.

Let me rephrase myself. I threw the rest of my bait overboard and went home. Anyway, I wouldn't do anything to harm these beautiful creatures. I just wish they would stay away when I'm trying to fish.

You just contributed to the reason they were bothering you in the first place.
