Lanark 6/30
Got to the ramp at just after 7:30 AM and went out the channel and headed east. Wind was nice 5-8 knots from the southwest all day up until about noon then steadily went up from there to around 15 knots or so. Made it fun going back through the deep water. Water temps started around 80 and went up to 83ish. Water vis was not very good at all. Could not see bottom in less than 1 ft. No real pattern to the fish. They were all caught throughout the day in anywhere from 8" to 8 ft. I really wanted to see what the vis was and I think that it may be another week or 2 before the vis in the Carabelle area is a little better. Finished the day with 1 limit of trout and 1 red. Back at the ramp at 2:15 and headed back to Tally. The Hewes ran good and kept us dry in all seas other than the quartering one.
