If any of you have a Minnkota Talon and are having any problems with it,and it would seem like there are problems if your Talon is a older model, both with the mount and the unit. I have lose the spike 3 times , not broke but came off. My local repair for minnkota has giving up. THe good news is there must have enough complaints that Minnkota has listened . They are replacing mine this week along with their new mount that goes to the motor. No charge for the new Talon or labor .
