Scallop - St. Marks
Any reports on scallops at St. Marks? I know that all of the St. Marks fisherman will say no. I understand - I fish far more than scallop, but looking to take the family. Thanks guys!
Re: Scallop - St. Marks
we got two boat limits before noon last saturday. Water was murky, but plently of the scallops in 4.5' west of Grey Mare. Good luck
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

I would like to go out tomorrow if the weather allows. I went last Sunday, After fishing til about 10:00am we headed for the scallops. All ya gotta do is look for the gallery of boats. My girlfriend caught a few gallons by herself. She was gettin double and triples every breath. My mask had been broken in two so I wasnt able to help. I caught the fish and she brough home the dinner literly with her catch of scallops.

Thanks for the reports. Went today - just my 12 yr old son and me. Made about 4 sets and ended up with about 3 gallons. Could have kept going and easily ended up with our limits. We were in about 4 foot of water straight south of Gray Mare with 342, 397 other boats. Sizes were mixed.

You can't expect all the boats to be the same size.
