http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ncaaf--pen ... -fine.htmlThe NCAA took unprecedented actions against Penn State on Monday in response to the Jerry Sandusky child sexual molestation scandal, fining the school $60 million, cutting scholarships for four years, imposing a four-year postseason ban and vacating all wins from 1998-2011.
NCAA president Mark Emmert boldly issued sanctions against Penn State. (Getty Images) Vacating the wins means the late Joe Paterno no longer is the winningest major college football coach in history.

I guess that puts Bobby back on top.

Re: Penn State
They interviewed Bobby today and he was adamant that he didn't want to get it this way. That being said, if the cover up came out soon after it happened, he wouldn't have been the winningest coach anyways.

Re: Penn State
Very unusual. The NCAA infractions committee turned it over to the President of the NCAA, because technically no NCAA rules were broken. I have a hard time squaring the public Paterno with the man described in Freesh's report. Having said that, I am glad the NCAA took the stance they did. College football can not even remotely be tolerant of child abuse.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!
