Drought get'n Bad

Got some family in mid Missouri who are really battle'n the dry weather (Farmers). However, they still are able to find the humor... received this in an email this morning from my cousin:
It's so dry in Missouri, that the Baptists are starting to baptize by sprinkling, the Methodists are using wet-wipes, the Presbyterians are giving out rain-checks, and the Catholics are praying for the wine to turn back into water.

Now THAT's Dry!

Corn fields in Ill and In are filing claims and plowing under,expect corn products to be high this year

HAVE A FRIEND IN TEXAS , HE HAD PLOWED UNDER THE COTTON, HE SAID THAT IT NEVER GOT OVER 2 INCHES HIGH BEFORE IT STARTED WILTING. HE SAID THAT HE STILL OWED 1.5 MIL. ON THE 7 MIL FARM HE BOUGHT 15 YRS. AGO, SAID IT LOOKED LIKE HE WAS GOING TO LOOSE EVERYTHING SINCE THE BANK WILL NOT EXTEND THE LOAN.

So someone please explain how a 10% ethanol blend is still cost effective.
