I used to like fishing. But now I just like fish-catching and I don't want to waste time if I'm not catching anything.

There is nothing wrong with you. The times that you go and slay the fish should off-set those trips where you just went fishing. Personally, I feel guilty if I don't go fishing every weekend or week day that I had the opportunity to go, and didn't. In order for you to catch "the big one" you must seek him out every chance you get. Honestly, after a day of fishing, I feel that my day/week is complete. It is a form of therapy for me.

They go hand in hand. I have an addiction to fishing. If my wore out boats arn't working, I am wade fishing. I love being out on the water and I have seem some amazing things, but I am also a meat hunter and I expect to eat well after each trip. When I strick out, I am disappointed. I also love Florida State Football, but when they lose, i hate it. Go figure!

It is also therapy for me, especially when it is a little choppy. I come home and sleep like a baby! However, we are meat hunters and enjoy catching and eating fish. Most fishermen are real nice folks and we enjoy talking with them. It ain't all about catching but I sure give it my best try, try to learn and do better. I've never seen a day no one caught fish. Someone always catches fish or so they say:)

go early stay late. leave the telephone either at home or turned off. enjoy what time we have. I have not found a better way to spend the day than with family and or friends fishing. By the way the name of our boat(notice ,I said our boat) is the last one in.

My wife and I go thru withdrawls if we can't fish at least once a week. I'm hoping right now the rain will pass and I get out for some sunset fishing today.
