When you gonna fish it ? Right now the upper lake would be my choice hot as it is. Got a lot of timber and weed beds right off the channel close to deep water. Plus you get away from the jet skis and pleasure boaters. I used to bass fish it a lot. Now about all I do is crappie fish down around the main lake.
Also in the mouth of cedar creek there are some 40' plus holes that hold bass.. Buddy of mine said he caught several with a carolina rig there awhile back.

fish the boat docks near deeper water.up the river as far as you feel safe would probably be better for numbers but the best we ever done was flipping docks with jigs in 6-8 ft of water for big fish.I have a friend that always done good up there carolina rig fishing creek channels with cotton candy colored lizards.
