Thanks Again Marines!
Seventy years ago today U.S. Marines took it to the Japanese on Guadalcanal...and never looked back.
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

My father was with the bunch doing the island hopper patching up the wounded. He said they did not let the medical corp on some of those islands for months due to the fighting. He and another local, who was a jarhead, would only talk about those islands after they had enjoyed a few good belts. True heroism! Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!
