Anybody else ever looked up and said...."whew, just in time"?

Thats what Spring Creek looked like 2 hrs. I got out "just in time!!"

Once when we went out to Dog Island from Ochlocknee SP. On the way back in a dark (black is more like it) came from nowhere from the north. Lightning was beginning to pop. As we pulled up to the ramp to load, The bottom fell out. The wife and girls made it in the truck, but guess who got soaked loading......And the lightning...well, lets just say it is hard cleaning out your drawers in those little outhouses at OSP.......

Anyone notice the eagle about 2 o'clock on the tallest dead tree trunk keeping vigil?

my ladyfriend took these with her phone last sunday at st marks in the channel. two storms came through that evening. one right over lower bridge and one out near the lighthouse. we were trapped in the channel for a few minutes but we got quite a show!
