Anyone on here know of good guides for the Venice area? Planning on going in Oct. There will be 4 of us. Also, what would we expect to be paying for the trip?

I can,t say for Venice, but at Lafitte La. Phil Robichaux charges 425.00 for two plus 50.00 for each extra person using 24 to 25 foot bay boats.

Capt. Alan Moreau two days fishing for about 500 dollars a day not including the cost of bait if you choose live bait. I have been to Lafitte and Venice, Venice is better hands down. I think his name is under native adventures. You stay at Yellow Cotton Bay right beside where he lives and maybe have a fish fry at his house. Great Captain.

Last time I spoke with them, I think they had one or both of the Holman bros and (when he isn't carpet bagging our local poons)Greg Dini(sp) helping with the fly guys that came in.
