With a north wind, the tide won't be able to push back up in to the creeks? Like Friday low tide is at 10:50 AM. So will the water not be able to push back in to the creeks?

These winds will not keep it out. It will just be a lot slower rising.
Some N,NE winds have been known to keep it out all day.

Tuesday, with the North wind, the tides came up, but the current NEVER ran out of the creeks, and the current running out of the creeks was running very fast??? I saw some schools of reds, but they seemed to be looking for a way out of the creek mouths - they certainly were not looking to eat>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I will take a north/NE wind over a south/SE wind any day of the week! The fishing is heating up right now and there are a lot more spots to fish in a N wind than a S wind. Then again, I like to sight fish very shallow. But, as they say, you'll never know unless you go. Some of the beat trips I've had are when they said it would be and was blowing 15-20mph all day, but magically was glass most the time. Good luck to all this weekend!

This is the site I use.
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... ype=marine

The box on the lower right map that says "Select another point" is the source of the information.
If you move your mouse cursor to any point and click,it will give you the weather prediction for that location.
I choose a point at Rock Island for these predictions because it is a central location for most of our INSHORE fishermen.

If you wanted Lanark info, simply expand the map and zoom in on Lanark, then click your mouse for a Lanark prediction.
This site can also be used for offshore.
