Talquin

Went to Talquin yesterday to try my luck. Kinda like a zoo. Managed a couple of largemouth...nothing of any size. I guy did come into the ramp when I was taking out with a nice 8lber. Said the fish seem to be holding deeper. Probably b/c of all the boats buzzing their heads. Kind hard to fish Talquin in a canoe and no fish finder. Would like to see a bottom machine around there. The water was really stained.

TC,
Both were caught on a 4 inch watermelon Senko. Had a few more solid strikes but they seemed to be short changing me a little. Even with a relatively small bait, and fishing pretty slow, they seemed to just hit the tailend. May have been little fellas. Also had a couple of hits on a 5 inch yellow Senko. Was fishing just up the creek from Coe's landing. Again, hard to travel much in the canoe without getting run over out there; but, a good time none the less.
