Aucilla 2/1/2013

Launched at Aucilla around 8am and fished hard until 5pm. We managed 5 trout and 1 small flounder. Water temp 62-64 degrees. We caught about a dozen 14" trout. We threw the color out of Gulps with a jig and/or popping cork. Hard baits were the ticket. Most of the fish were caught from 1:00-3:00.

You did good. Some days it is hard to get a bite. Good report.

Was new to aucilla this am but didn't have very good luck. Caught couple shorts on jigs. No keepers.seemed like everyone saying they were slow catching today. Oh well had a good time. Really liked the place.
