Econfina this week

Post by Bizzarley »

Going to fish out of Econfina Thurs-Saturday this week. Just looking for news, weather, fish reports, anything you want to share.

Always have a good time there. Caught a 40" red fish last May.

Look at the weather and tide charts for this week located on this site. Looks like the wind's gonna howl. I'm headed down today with the GF. Will post a report. Gonna fish the falling tide. She's not an early riser!!

Thanks. I didn't think about the tide chart. That will help a lot.

Good luck.

Trout and reds are biting....trout on flats and reds close in! Wind forecast looks iffyish!
But hey...who trusts NOAA?
Good luck...see you down there!

Yep there munching on the Paul Browns..my GF and I went sat, limited out on trout and a bunch of short reds.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day

Had a great trip. We limited out on trout thursday, friday, and saturday. majority were quality fish, many 19 inchers and a few 20s. my biggest was 21.5 inches. one of the guys in the boat caught a 25 inch, 4 and 1/2 pound trout. he says this one is going on the wall.
