Paul Brown lure question???

:-D I'm gonna pick up a couple. What style and colors are your favorites? :smt102 What is best for dark or clear water? Thanks

I love the original corkie. I usually use darker colors in darker water and lighter colors in clearer water. Keep em away from bluefish. There are a couple of knockoffs for about half the price. They look exactly the same and I can not tell them apart in my hands. But they don't have the same action, and don't catch fish as well. Good luck

A customer gave me a pink one(looks like a tadpole) that looked like a dogs chew toy(it was so ate up). I caught a 21 and a 17 trout on it a few casts apart. I guess they still work even chewed up. :-D

I was thinking of getting the Black back, gold with orange belly. Any tips on working it.

Wow, you mean that chewed up Corkie I threw away still catches fish?? I guess if there are chunks missing out of the lures body it looks like an easy meal!!:)

Twitch twitch pause. You can also do a sort of walk the dog type of retrieve. Good luck
