Econfina Saturday afternoon

DeeDee and I took a trip down since we hadn't been in a while. I guess I've lost my touch, only 1 keeper trout and 1 Red, but he had to go back. Over the slot. Still a good afternoon on the water.

I know the feeling about lost touch. Cindy and I finally got out last week and did okay, but no limits. But you know what they say.

Even a bad day fishing beats a good day at work!

At least you got out there. I tried to hail you on 14. We headed in at 4:30.

When I got there I put 2 on the box quick. Hooked a reel biggun and he shook off, then nothing but some shorts and rock bass and grunts.
Went in and tried for a red with some cut Ladyfish. Got a cat.
I also pulled out around 4:30.

Ate the trout for supper. :lick:
