St. Marks Lady's Day

Post by Dockwilson »

We hit the water @ 8:45 Sat morning. Headed east and set up a drift. I have been using my I pilot to slow down the drift and it works great. Also the anchor feature is sweet. 3 of us fishing using mostly gulps bumped along the bottom. We must have caught 30+ lady fish for the day. Almost as many short trout and 4 nice keeper trout. 1 Spanish and one Black Sea Bass, both keepers. 3 good size bluefish we released. The pearl gulp was hot! The largest trout(19.5") was on a CT w pearl gulp swimming mullet 3". All the action was in 5-6 ft water. Fished till 3, called it a day. Had a blast!

Nothing like a good day on the water. Catching fish is a PLUS!

Thanks for the report!
