Lanark Scallop Report...

Post by bman »

Took a buddy from out of town Scalloping at Lanark Yesterday.
Lanark Market is the place to launch- $10 launch fee and a great ramp. They have Ice, drinks and Ethanol Free gas
Carson told us where to go - basically anywhere to the east of the ramp in 3-5 foot of water.
There were five or six other boats there and we tried an area a little away from them.

Water was crystal clear!!
The grass is long and thick and a lot of the scallops were on the bottom. It was also a cloudy day so it was a little hard to see them.
Still only took an hour to get our limit.

Ran home, cleaned them up...

And my wife did an awesome job cooking them up for dinner... Will try to get the recipe posed later.
