I stand corrected

Like most, I look at a lot of references to try to figure out the forcast. One is the NOAA inshore forcast. In the years that I've done this, I can't remember ever seeing anything over " around 1 foot", but it usually says 1 foot or less. Well, here it is, a legit inshore forcast that says something different

Independence Day: SSE wind 15 to 20 kt. Showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 2 ft.

Y'all have fun, I think we are sitting this one out.
