Does anyone know the link to the map that shows all of the sea grass and Oyster beds in Florida? I used to know how to find it but have lost it somehow.

Yea I have seen that one too but the one I am thinking about may have been from one of the universities or maybe even the state of Florida. It is an interactive map that allows the user to chose different layers. Thanks for the info for this one to though it is a good tool as well.

I think that is it but I can't get it to work like it used to. You could get a layer that displayed oyster beds or seagrass beds or both at the same time. If anyone knows anything else or figures out how to use it please post it! I was a big help to me when I used it before! Thanks for the help so far.

Well, if anyone ever finds that that map, I too, would like to view it. If it's on FWC, can someone identify which one that it is.

FWC to my my knowledge doesn't have an interactive map that I've found. But if you click the above FWC GIS link and look under the Data and Maps subheading and click marine. Click the quick link "coast and marine habitats" and scroll down you'll see oyster beds and sea grass. You'll want to use the zipped KML file for google earth unless you have access to ArcGIS/similar to open shape files.

Edit:
Try this. FDEP's map direct application is an interactive map.

ca.dep.state.fl.us/mapdirect/?focus=oceandata

It should look something like this: Image

"Data layers" is in the left and that allows you to choose the layers you want to display.
