Local Craigs List ad for boat....

Post by Steve Stinson »

I saw this ad on Craig's List / Tally. Knowing that this forum is probably the quickest way to reach local boaters / boat buyers I wanted to repost it so that maybe nobody gets taken on this deal.

Thanks -

THAT T-TOP IS WORTH A LOT MORE THAN $1 FOR SOME THAT CAN USE THE PARTS AND THE ENGINE IF RUNNING SHOULD BE WORTH ALOT MORE, WISH I WERE 50 YRS. YOUNGER I WOULD JUMP ON THAT IN A HEART BEAT.

Thanks for the heads up on this deal Steve! I am headed to meet him tonight to take a look at it. He wants me to bring cash and to come alone. I guess he doesn't want anyone seeing this awesome deal. It is also a little strange to meet in Havana at 1am but I guess he works nights.:-)

This is building into a nice plot for a Carl Hiassen novel...

The ad was being removed when I clicked on it. What was the scam?
