John Deere L120

Post by Flint River Pirate »

I am selling my 2005 John Deere L120 with Briggs and Stratton 22hp motor and 48" deck. It came from Albany Tractor and I am the original owner. It has 344 hours on the engine and has been serviced by the dealer every season. The belt to the deck needs to be replaced and is currently off. For whatever reason, i can't get it to stay on. I haven't used it in over a year, and it has always been garage kept. It also needs a new front side right tire. I am asking $900 for it and I might consider trades. Davewalton@bellsouth.net or send me a PM on this site.

I have the same mower.
I like it.
Is your belt tension spring and tension roller OK?
Is the belt running V to V and flat to flat on the pulley guides?
Any spindle towers loose?
WHOSE FISH IS IT?

Check the pulleys for obstructions too. If a stick or gum ball gets wedged in one it will imediatley sling it off!

And the most important thing, the beer holder.

Nice looking mower.

Tells a lot about how well you keep your equipment.

John Deere L120

This mower is getting in my way. I used it today to pull a wagon to pick up pine cones and it did great. I can't get the belt to stay on, it needs one tire and a battery. I will take $475 just to get it out of my garage.

If my old lawn mower repair guy hadn't passed on, I would jump at it.
