Any of you guys fry whiting? If so, is it any good? Do you fillet and fry or just fry them whole like brim?
Any suggestions? (besides 'try and catch somethin else'
)

They are excellent eating. I always fillet them but they should be good cooked whole unless the skin has an off taste.

I should add that I have never caught Whiting in the Gulf. East coast Whiting are very good.
