2014 NFGFC Tournament Schedule?

When is the NFGFC schedule typically set? This year I'm getting my priorities straight and setting our school's weekend track meet schedule AFTER the club schedule comes out (assuming the club dates are set by mid-January).

The schedule is usually ready by the January meeting. For the most part the tournaments are the first Saturday after the first Thursday(meeting night).
Some consideration is given for certain holidays. eg. July 4 and Labor day.

Thanks, JT. I did notice that most of the 2013 events were the first Saturday of the month. Did not know if that's standard every year, but it sure helps for planning!

that is standard Gary. Typically the only thing that disrupts that pattern are holidays or super low tides:)

Brian can you give us a definite on the february and march dates if possible when you can it seemed like they were the only ones may have been the 2nd week of the month due to tides.thanks and have a Merry Christmas and happy new year.

Sorry to pester NFGFC officers, but I'm trying to schedule high school track meets around fishing (an obvious reflection of shifting priorities).

Several of us met at Steve Hobb's yesterday to tackle some of the club business. Give Steve a call. I believe the tournaments are going to follow the standard schedule of being the weekend after the meetings, with the meetings being on the 1st Thurs. of each month.

The tournament schedule should be out tonight. Just got word of the special olympics having their tournament on the same as ours in Keaton and want to avoid that.
