tried CK with wife today limit of trout and four Spanish mack. more short than I could could water temp 59 to 60 . fish were in 4.5 to 5 feet of water all on gulp.

Jim you did good. My brother likes fishing at Cedar Key as well. Have you ever tried the gold., cotton cordell redfin plug. It is working well around Keaton.

Jim, you can work it several ways. It is a top water plug than runs about 1.5 feet on a steady slow retrieve. Sometimes times you retrieve it slow, other times letting it rest on top with a couple of jerks every now and them works. Catches both trout and reds. The down side is the paint comes off easily but it catches fish!
