Keaton Beach Motel

Post by slayer »

DAMN!!!!! I knew they had new owners...but damn!!!!!!! was gonna stay at the Marina next Sun and Monday, but when I called they gave me the price for me and my son and a friend of his...with tax and all it was 109 per nite for the small rooms...that would be 218 for 2 nights!!! thats just crazy!!!!...looks like the boat ramp and a motel in perry.....I understand that they are pretty much the only game in town, but the room we use in perry is 55 per night...Keaton Beach/sea hag priced me right out of staying there...sad part is the atmosphere around that area is awesome, but for me its not worth twice the cost...and I normally would never leave Keaton during my stay, which means all Ice drinks snacks fuel and everything else would be bought there....

I could understand if it was scallop season or something....but damn...just damn!!!!!

anyway, I will be down from Atlanta next sunday monday and half day on tuesday...if ya see my 22' Nauticstar bay (white and blue) with myself and 2 young men in it, throw your hand up and holler....I will share any fishing info I have with any of the members that are down there!!!!

Just wait until scallop season...., the rooms will be 129, 10 for launch and 10 for wet slip. 149/night plus taxes... I'm hoping the Hilton is looking at this property....
