Anybody Got A H20 Clarity Report

Post by Scoop Sea »

Gents: I'm thinking about trying a little giggin this evening or tomorrow evening. Does anyone have any water clarity reports, looking at Ochlockonee Bay, Lanark, or Oyster Bay? Gotta pick the boat up off Surf Road, so may try Ochlockonee Bay or Lanark, but am definitely more familiar with Oyster Bay/Shell Pt for giggin. In advance, thanks. Chris

I think shell point has a water safety warning in effect. So, maybe not oyster bay. I was out of town this weekend so can't comment on the water clarity, but I'm guessing still black coffee.

It is dark everywhere from Hickory Mound to Saint Joe Bay. Was out yesterday an found some clear-ish water behind Palmetto Island. You could see down about two feet, but the water was still as dark as coffee.
