Headed to St. Joe Bay with my family for the weekend.
Redbelly - Last weekend the water directly South of Piney Island was clear in close to the shore. If you moved toward Shell Pt. or toward Mashy Sands however, the water became cloudy. (Just sort of gray, not tannin stained.)

Cedar Key bound after lunch today
Re: Who's going this sat?
Fished this past Saturday SE of 24 Barge and water was still a bit murky. My guess for clear water would be further out off DI or SGI.
I don't know when I'm gonna catch my next fish but I know when I do it's gonna be awesome!

With the Big Bend Saltwater Classic and Doug Johnson tournaments going on, tarpon season, weekend warriors and the usual sandbar flotilla, it'll be a parking lot out there.

But, when you ARE a weekend warrior, you battle for position!Sun Daze wrote:silverking wrote:With the Big Bend Saltwater Classic and Doug Johnson tournaments going on, tarpon season, weekend warriors and the usual sandbar flotilla, it'll be a parking lot out there.
