1872 / 1860 cc

Post by TCSO122 »

Currently fish the econfina / hichory mounds / st. marks area with my kayak. Although i've had great success, I need to get back into a boat to hit the flats when the fish move into deeper water. I'm seeking input from those who primarily fish inshore around the rocky areas in the big bend and enjoy chasing reds in creeks, etc. A boat of interested is the sea ark 1872cc or 1860cc. I need a boat that can get my into skinny water and have no issues riding out to Dog Island or hitting the sandbar at St. Marks. In addition, the rocks and bars would concern me with a fiberglass hull. If anyone is set up like this model any input would be appreciated.

I had an Xpress 1860 and always wished that I had the 1872. In would say get the boat you can afford, the 1872 Sea Ark is awesome. Just know that aluminum will not ride like fiberglass. Trust me!
