I was wondering who you guys think is the best guide for Econfina? I'm looking to take a customer out of there soon and was hoping for local advice. Thanks in advance

Ashley Mock. He knows that area like the back of his hand, and wins a lot of tournaments fishing there.

Re: Econfina guide
how long before Econfina will be good for fishing since the influx of fresh water?
Re: Econfina guide
Not sure how much rain they got, 3-5 days depending on how much rain and the strength of the tides.

Re: Econfina guide
X2 for Bry Martin. When I first started fishing salt water several years ago, I could not catch a red to save my life. Booked a half day charter with Bry and told him I was looking for knowledge more than just catching a fish. He was very patient and taught me things to look for, and even though the fishing was incredibly slow that day, I did land my first dink red. I took that knowledge and went back a few times and it has been paying off ever since. Once we determined that the fish were not going to bite that day, we put on masks and came home with our limit of scallops. Really nice guy and a good guide.
