Survey- Lake Miccosukee Aquatic Plant Managment

Post by bman »

Hunting Lake Micc one day near the end of the season I got this on my dash...I'd hate to see them start spraying one of our best duck lakes!

Oh boy..... FWC needs to leave it alone including not draining it anymore. Only thing I would agree on is opening back up the original runs.

Thanks for posting the survey Barry. Those of us that park on private property when on the lake don't get these left on our vehicles. I have printed several copies and distributed them to those that didn't get it.

I asked about it last night at the Lake Jackson Meeting.

They are planning some spraying of the large woody tussocks in the middle of the lake.
One Biologist was explaining that they were blowing around killing other vegetation.

They are what keep the gator holes open. It's not a bad thing IMO. they also hold fish under and around them. They provide excellent dove roost too :-D
